When we got to Cape Leveque we went down to the beach for a walk and Daniel and I climbed rocks. Every day in Cape Leveque we went to the beach for a swim and a walk.

We went fishing on a boat out into the Indian Ocean. I caught the first fish on my first go. It was called a Blue Spangled Emperor.
I also caught a Spotted Cod and a Tomato Cod.

Daniel caught some big fish too. We threw most of our fish back into the water but kept some of the bigger ones. Dad caught a reef shark.
After that we went fish feeding. I got to feed Barramundi and pat a Sea Turtle.
For dinner I got to eat the fresh fish we caught from the ocean.
On the last day we made a spear. we burnt a branch in the fire and made it straight.

Then we (meaning dad and mum) took the bark off, cleaned it and tied a really sharp spike to the end. We went down to the beach to go spear fishing but didn't catch anything. (Dad says it is a miracle none of us speared each other). One aboriginal girl caught a shark with her spear.

St Thomas' is on holidays now too - Prep Blue will be so excited to see what you have been up to when we get back to school next week.
